DVLA data

(England and Wales) Under schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 we have the
right to obtain vehicle keeper details from the DVLA for the legitimate interest of car parking
management. If ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) technology is being used this
right will be exercised as soon as a PCN has been checked to ensure we notify the registered
keeper as soon as possible. If a PCN has been issued by an enforcement offer the right to
obtain this information will be exercised if the PCN remains outstanding after 28 days of the
notice being issued. These processes are carried out as per the BPA and DVLA guidelines and
we are audited on a regular basis to ensure our compliance. Individuals are notified of these
rights and processes on both signage within the area we enforce and within subsequent
notices that are issued.
